Assuming you live in the US *EU has a lot more good rpgs out right now* and don't want to import you have Final Fantasy Crisis Core as a standard UMD game. PS1 classics should also not be left out however I suggest purchasing Final Fantasy 7 and 8 (if 8 isn't out yet I apologize I haven't look at the PSN store in a bit). You can also get the star ocean game for the psp if you like the star ocean series.
God of War chains of Olympus is also great if you haven't played it as well as Final Fantasy dissidia is definitely great and has a demo for you to try if you have never played it before.
