You're either trying to insert games from a different region (the 3DS is region locked) or there's something wrong with the 3DS's card reader, it should be taken back to where you got it from, for replacement.
It can play European DS games, but not European 3DS games. 3DS games are region locked, but you can still play regular DS games on any 3DS console (tested with European 3DS and US DS games).
Um...if you couldn't play games why would Nintendo of made it?
Yes, the Nintendo 3DS family can play Nintendo DS and Nintendo DSi games. However, some games that require the GBA slot (Guitar Hero) will not work for the Nintendo 3DS.The Nintendo 3DS family includes:- Nintendo 3DS- Nintendo 3DS XL (LL)- Nintendo 2DS- New Nintendo 3DS- New Nintendo 3DS XL (LL)
Yes. The 3DS can play DS multiplayer games with any DS.
The 3DS has its own library of games, but can also play any games released on the DS or DSi.
No, a licensed NDS game should not affect the 3DS is any way because the 3DS is backwards compatible and can play NDS games
The 3DS can play DS games from any region, excluding games that are either DSi-exclusive or games with extra features on the DSi.
The dsi can play any ds or ds lite games, however 3ds's are the only game systems that 3ds games work in.
All DS games work on both the DS and the DS Lite. Games that require a GBA cartridge slot (like the Guitar Hero games) do not work on the DSi, as the GBA slot has been removed. also dont try 3ds games on any ds ( but 3ds) it wont work but you can play ds games on it :( but not 3d
any ds or 3ds game can be played on any 3ds system.
Assuming you mean old DS games, yes, the 3DS can play any of them, as long as they do not require Slot-2, like Guitar Hero.
No. The 3DS games are not currently set for release on the DS as well. One of the reasons may be that the 3DS has greatly enhanced online capabilities, and the 3D screen. It would be much more difficult from a coding standpoint to port these games between the 2 systems.
