this is a very complicated prociedure.
you will need a soldering iron, a Nintendo screwdriver and plyers
you need to remove the bottom shell of the ds revealing the mother board. then you will see two small fuses(looks like a 2 mm pice of wire ) they will be labled f1 or f2, if the fuses are blown then you need to replace them, first grab wire cut it to the same length remove the old one. then put the new one in the same position
if this doesnt work here is a link for a 5 dollar charger for the original ds

simply remove the battery from the ds and put it in the charger
Note this is for the ds original

One of the fuses (F1 or F2) is blown. You have to open up the DS to fix it
You will have to charge it with the Nintendo DS charger.
Check to see if the battery is securely placed. If it is, then plug the DS into the charger and connect to an outlet. Then it should charge up and work.
Charge up your Nintendo
Yes there are available stands that will charge your Nintendo Ds unit as you play such as the Charge Boy Ds.
It will work on Nintendo ds lite, Nintendo dsi and on the 3ds. It wont be in 3d though
personally i would prefer a Nintendo ds lite as it takes less time to charge, its easier to hold and once you charge it lasts for a lot longer then a psp. i also prefer the Nintendo ds games
