What do you do to unlock dogs on Nintendogs?

In Nintendogs, you can unlock breeds that you don't already have by caring and playing with your puppy so much that gradually your trainer points will increase and a notice will come up next time you visit the Kennels saying 'you can now buy a ..........' It will tell you what breed you have unlocked.

You have to get a certain amount of trainer or owner points. You can do this by playing with your puppy, bathing it, brushing it, taking it for walks, entering it in contests, and even by connecting with your friends in bark mode.

I think when you get about...1000 you unlock your first dog!

Getting a jack Russel is different,

walk your dog and try to find an item called the jack Russel book,

then you will get the dog in the kennel!

Oh yes...Action replay codes...The code press SELECT to get all items just makes it so you can never buy eneything from the kennel!I think that will also prevent you from buying eneything from eney stors!!!!!

There are many different ways to unlock new breeds, the main one, is by increasing your trainer points. To increase trainer points, you need to look after your current dogs, and win competitions with them - eventually you will unlock new breeds.

Another way of unlocking new breeds, is having a friend connect with you. If they connect with a dog breed, that you haven't unlocked, then you will unlock it in your game - but this will only work for the first time you meet the other person on the game.

And finally, when you are walking your dog, if you go through a blue question mark symbol, and a gift appears, if the gift turns out to be a fireman hat, you will unlock the dalmation breed.
