installing "skyrim" from the disc is just supposed to make the game run smoother/ faster. personally I don't notice much difference in performance but if you have a lot of free space it could be worth a try.
Just to let you know you can only get mods on the PC version
I would say Skyrim has better replay ability since you can choose many different ways of playing the game. Skyrim also has thousands of mods to install to fundamentally change how the game is played.
No, there simply is no button to do so. You can only install mods through a very complicated process. search how to mod skyrim xbox and you'll find it.
Dawnguard is basically an expansion pack for skyrim. like all expansion packs, it requires the base game to play. So on a PC (and any other gaming device) you need skyrim first and then you can install dawnguard.
