What happens if you get blacklisted on Skullduggery Island?

Blacklisting occurs if you have an unpaid loan from the Golden Harbor Bank after 20 days. (In Skullduggery Island, a "day" is going from any island to another island.)

You can't buy a larger ship until you have paid your overdue loan. Paying it lets you continue buying larger ships, and you can still borrow more later.

The "blacklist" is a very small attempt to enforce loans from the Golden Harbor Bank. Loans are for a term of 20 "trading days" and incur 5% interest per day (the interest stops after 23 days). If you have a loan that is "past due", you cannot buy a larger ship at Dragon Cove until it is fully repaid.

(Loans in force after the purchase of the Phoenix Warbird are therefore uncollectable but may be repaid if desired.)

You are blacklisted if you have an "overdue" loan from the Golden Harbor bank. Loans have a period of 20 trading days, and increase by 5% a day. If you do not repay the loan by the 21st day, you will not be able to buy a larger ship until it is repaid. Repaying the loan restores your good credit.

However, if you already have the largest ship, there is really nothing to worry about, as your final loan need not be repaid (you no longer need doubloons). But otherwise you must pay back your loan as soon as possible.
