Since I usually have my AR sticking out of my DS, it constantly gets hit. If there is a distrubance while saving (such as the game being hit or turning off while saving) when you try to load your saved file a blue screen comes up that says something like "the saved file is corrupt. The previous saved file will be loaded" and it will load to where you last saved. (This happened today as well. -.- After I got Arceus and went through all those cut scenes with Cynthia and got Dialga, my game got bumped while saving x.x I was so mad.) You can clone Pokemon without an AR by going to battle tower, depositing the Pokemon to be cloned in an empty PC box, exiting and saving, then taking Pokemon out and taking battle tower challange. While the game is saving after talking to the receptionist, turn off the game. When you turn it back on, check you PC box. The Pokemon you deposited will be in the box and in your party. Turning off your game while still saving can cause data loss and permanent damage to your game so I don't suggest you use this method unless you're desperate or using an emulator.
