the gas cap needs tightened
It could be that you have not tightened the cap on your gas tank. Be sure to check the gas cap and see if its being properly tightened. That was the case for me a couple of times.

Oil filters are not torqued, just hand tightened.
You cant get it if it isnt currently on sale.
There isnt one, you just press and release the cover and remember..there is no filler cap underneath the cover!!
the light can come on when the gas cap it not fully tightened to at least 3 clicks
Could be vapor lock. The vent on your gas cap may be clogged
Usually if it's leaking from the filler cap and the engine is not overheating, then either the cap is not tightened properly, the rubber seal on the cap is damaged/faulty (get a new cap), or the spring in the cap for maintaining proper pressure is faulty (get a new cap).
I had this happen on mine. It means the fuel cap was not tightened correctly. Apparently if the seal is not right too much air gets in the tank and trips the light. Ours went off by itself after the cap was tightened
The message is "gascap". Check to see if the gas cap is not tightened properly.
Yes anything can brake if you tighten it to much.
