Go to the store and buy a can of air. Very carefully take the ps2 apart (there are little screws under the rubber pieces on the bottom) and spray the entire thing so it will not have any dust around the eye. Then you replace the parts and reinsert the screws.
If that does not work then it is time for a new ps2.
1. you need to wait longer
2. your disc is messed up
3. the laser in the PS2 that reads the disc is messed up.
No u can't because the digital format on the disk is different. The ps2 wouldn't even read the disk and probably worst would happen...
No, the technology of a PS2 is far below that of a PS3, so it cannot read the disk.
The PS2 does not have a harddrive
No. It is not. A PSP may have alots of things but it gets spoiled fast. Sometimes it doesnt even read the disk. I have both. And a PS2 has better games!
NO! it will be on the PS3 and maybe 360 and furter more no it will not be PS2 disk
No,PS3 is not compatible with ps2 it should play them if you have a special software for your ps3.
When I was prompted for a format disk on ps2, I went to game stop to buy the disk. They said a disk was not available - the game was simply too scratched to play.
To get it to read UMD (don't take off the plastic casing) you have to put it in the disk compartment then it should read it and that's that If it doesn't read it you have a problem.
you are probably putting the disk on upsidedown, the silver part faces down. either that or there's a problem with your motherboard which is pretty expensive to replace if not on warranty
clean the disk that's in your ps2
PS2 games are not on rewritable discs
There are only a few models of the ps3 that allow you to play ps2 games on them. If you put a ps2 game into the ps3 and your ps3 does not support them, it will tell you that it cannot read the disk.
