Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is the sixth installment of the Call of Duity series. The game was created by Infinity Ward and follows the same story from the game Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Captain price agree to help task force 141 and Shepard to track down Makarov. price thinks their first priority was to end the war in America.To do that he leads task force 141 to gain control of an nuclear submarine in a Russian port.price use the submarine to launch a missile towards Washington dc.he sets the warhead to destroy the upper atmosphere which also destroyed the international space station. Meanwhile sgt foley and his squad was getting their way securing the white house,they were pinned down by Russian helicopters and Russian convoy below.They were ordered to go to the rooftop and escape on a chopper.when on the chopper, Remirez is shooting Russians down in the WW2 Memorial with the chopper's machine gun then the chopper was shot down by a rpg-7.They were surrounded by Russian troops when the missile that price launched landed on Washington dc and destroyed every chopper on top of Washington dc giving the Americans an advantage to take back Washington dc.As they were moving along,an Us marine told them that the air force is going to carpet bomb the city and they have to advanced to the whiskey hotel and set green flares on the roof of the white house to stop the airstrike.

When they made it to the whiskey hotel,they found the presidential bunker on The West Wing. One army ranger said that he thought the presidential bunker was on the east wing but then knew it was just for the tourist.The one that they found must be the real one.They went through the bunker then up to the white house,they started to clear their way up then set green flares on the roof in a nick of time signaling that the city is still in Americans hands.

Narrowing down makarov hiding place to two separate locations,task force 141 decides to split up.Price and soap went to an aircraft boneyard in Afghanistan while roach and ghost search for a dsm from makarov's safe house.they got the dsm and pass through makarov's men when they were attacking roach and ghost.As soon as they almost made it to the escape helicopter, roach was injured and was carried by ghost. Shepard was waiting on the helicopter when he came out.He ask them if they got the dsm when roach said yes.Then Shepard betrays them and shoot roach,ghost tried to help roach but was too late, Shepard shot ghost in the chest.Shepard orders the Russians to dump fuel on ghost and roach, Shepard smoke his last cigar then drop it on roach.Ghost and roach were killed then burned.

price and soap quickly found out that Shepard has betrayed them.Price and soap go on a suicide mission to kill Shepard. They Started chasing Shepard by a boat race.Shepard then escape when he drives his boat to the back of an helicopter, but then price shoots the helicopter's rotor which made the helicopter fall and crash to the ground.

Then soap and price Fall down a waterfall,after recovering his injuries,soap started walking towards the fallen chopper and try to kill Shepard, but when he gets to Shepard, Shepard punch and then snatch the knife from soap,then stab the knife in soap's chest.Shepard then said 5 years ago he lost ten thousand men,and the world just watched,then then says now there will be no shortage of volunteers.Shepard load his pistol then came out of nowhere,price push Shepard and started punching him, but Shepard soon got control and started punching back, while price was being punched by Shepard, soap quickly yank the knife out of his chest then threw the knife at Shepard killing him. A escape helicopter landed and pierce helps soap get to it, Nikolai get out of the helicopter and says he know a safe place.

MultiplayerModern Warfare 2 's multiplayer started out very similar with Its original game. But the perks and equipment were different. Insted of equipment being a perk, It becomes an item, and it only lets you have 1 insted of 2.
