What is fafnir in Final Fantasy XII?

To find fafnir u have to follow a certain path in the paramina rift..Speak to Relj to make the blizzard appear in Paramina Rift, then from Mt. Bur-Omisace, head to: Freezing Gorge -> Head of the Silverflow -> Icebound Flow -> Karydine Glacier -> Silverflow's End. This path is the only way to continue the blizzard and thus the only way to find Fafnir

Fafnir is a hunt in Final Fantasy 12 hunts are stronger than normal enemies that if defeated you receieve rewards from people called Petitioners these people post Bills on the Sandsea wall or talk to the Clan Hall about a particular beast or creature that has either effected them in some way or others. If you accept hunts and talk to the petitioners you can defeat these creatures and get a good reward for it. Fafnir like i said is one of the many hunts you can partake in ff12 you don't need to do hunts to finish the game but some let you get to certain areas that are most helpful for your adventure. Fafnir can be found somewhere in the parinima rift.
