What is the advantages and disadvantages of flexi-time?

Advantages for the employee (1) able to fit commuting to bus/train timetables (2) able to coordinate child care (3) able to save up time for when needed eg shopping or go early on a special day

Advantage for the company (1) able to have cover wider hours (2) employees love it, less likely to want to leave, avoids expensive turnover costs (3) employees mostly carry a plus balance - this is work that's been done, but not paid for - improves profits
