For me, I like to start out in the beginning for the first six waves (when the wolves come) and then start opening doors. First wave, I always knife first because it only takes one knife to kill the Zombies. Then for the second and third waves, if you can make your pistol last, then keep it till the fourth wave. Now, I suggest you run upstairs and get the M14. Since zombies are slow, just take your time to aim at their heads and then shoot, so you won't waste any bullets. Do this for the fourth and fifth wave and the sixth is usually when the wolves start to come. When the wolves come, stay downstairs in the corner near the window that looks pitch black and take out the wolves. Before you take out the last wolf and get the max ammo emblem, make sure you reload so that you get the most bullets that you can get.
By now, you should have a good four or five thousand points to buy some perks. On the seventh wave, I suggest you go out the door that's upstairs and then buy the PM63 to replace the pistol. Then, go out the next door that leads you to go downstairs and replace your M14 gun for the MP40, so that you have two machine guns to alternate in taking out the zombies. If you happen to run into the mystery box, DO NOT get any of the guns off of the wall that I said and just stick to getting better guns from there. When you have racked up a good amount of points, keep taking the doors out until you get to the Theater and from there, turn on the power switch. When the curtains open, turn on the teleporter and then immediately run to the Jugger-Nog Perk and get it. This helps you to take more hits from zombies instead of just two and die like before. Then, run back to the beginning and turn on the link activator so that the teleporter will be running. If you have 5000 or more points then take the teleporter and Pack-a-Punch your weapon. If you do not have 5000 points, then make laps ( this makes the zombies bunch up so you can take them out
) and by doing this you will easily rack up points to get the Pack-a-Punch Perk. After all of this has been done, then just keep running around and taking out zombies so that you will get enough points to buy more and more perks.
By doing this, I easily got to wave 50 and ended up with almost all of the perks, just takin out zombies. If you do actually get to wave 50 or more, be prepared for an Apocolypse!! Any questions????
I have an excellent strategy for SOLO: I use knife only for rounds 1 and 2, then pistol and knife rounds 3 and 4, then buy M14 and go for headshots, when you have $5,500+ OR dog round occurs and you have at least $3,250, buy quick revive and open the upper right door, immediately the next door, buy MP40 right away. If you passed the mystery box you can swap your M14 (do not waste points spamming the box on early rounds) otherwise buy the stakeout also. I then alternate defending the MP40 room and spawn room. Use stakeout for defending doors and MP40 for mobs. Try to let them clump up and hip fire with MP40, the bullets will pass through multiple zombies earning more points. When things get too hectic (approx. round 8-10) open the next door in MP40 room and immediately open the door to the stage. DO NOT turn on the power yet. Here is the main strategy: let zombies break in (Do not ever open the door by M16, if the box is in there go through the alley), have your stakeout out and run away from the zombies CLOCKWISE around the two large displays and the pile of boxes, they will hoard up behind you, use your shotgun for the zombies that spawn in front of you, wait until the maximum amount of zombies have spawned (there is a limit to how many zombies can be spawned at once), then when you are on either long side (the side nearer the seats is best) turn around and shoot hip firing the MP40, you will get TONS of points. Then keep circling and when the max have spawned turn and shoot again. After a few rounds of this turn on the power (or turn it on sooner if you get surrounded) and buy juggernog immediately. Go back to the stage. (After round 12ish you will need to pack a punch the stakeout). Whenever you have to leave the stage, preferably create a crawler with grenades and don't kill it so the next round doesn't begin, or if you get surrounded or need to buy ammo, try and wait for the maximum zombies to spawn, then run to M14 room, (DO NOT kill zombies while going for ammo, they will spawn ahead of you on high rounds also do not put claymores anywhere but the stage for the same reason) then buy Stakeout/MP40 ammo, when you get to the MP5k room activate the trap by the stage door, your mob will get killed by it, return to circling the stage. Always try to make crawlers and leave them so you can do things between rounds. When the pack a punched stakeout becomes ineffective you need to use the box (with only a crawler around). keep your MP40 it is your main money maker, don't pack a punch it just keep buying ammo like I said, you want to replace your stakeout with the ray gun but preferably the thundergun (for defense of zombies in front of you while creating zombie trains).
More Tips:
-Ideally for perks you want juggernog at all times, followed by quick revive (limit of 3 buys), speed cola, and mule kick (to have ray gun, thundergun, and MP40). If you run out quick revives you can buy double tap with spare points.
-If you go down: if you are really good do not kill the zombies but wait, revive, and hoard up the maximum spawn of zombies so none will spawn ahead of you and grab your perks back like a normal ammo run, if it is too risky kill all zombies and make a mad dash for juggernog then other perks (except double tap, that off the path)
-Only use the box with a crawler around, try to get the ray gun, thundergun, cymbal monkeys, and with mule kick MP40 (not pack a punched). After that you don't need to buy new guns. When appropriate pack a punch the ray gun and thundergun.
-In low rounds do NOT get nukes, you'll get more points killing the weak zombies yourself, in high rounds always grab nukes but NEVER risk your life for power ups!
-Do NOT grab carpenter unless it is just in your way, this is because the zombies will clump up while breaking in then spawn in a huge swarm.
-If you get a fire sale, continue the normal circling and use the stage's box, but only if don't have ray gun, thunder gun, or monkies yet. A free gun is not worth dying for (fire sales are the main cause of me losing in co-op with random players because they are greedy and die using it)
-Just knife during insta kills to save ammo
-Use stage turret if you can, just avoid it's bullets they will hurt you.
-Preferably pack a punch only with a lone crawler left.
-If its obvious all the rest of round's zombies have spawned (less than the maximum have spawned with no more spawning) avoid nukes so you can make a crawler.
-Use MP40 to get points, ray gun (sparingly) to kill zombies when you are overwhelmed, and have thundergun out at all other times while circling because you never know when you will get cornered. Use monkies only for emergencies.
-When facing the stage, the steps to the left in front of the teleporter have about 3 wooden planks acting like a ramp, if you sit on those just right the dogs will not attack you (Look it up).
With practice, this method is highly effective. The last time I tried, I got to round 29, I never had to use my thundergun, didn't even get monkies yet, never used up my ray gun's ammo or pack a punched it yet, and died because I was bored and goofed off (I turned around to shoot before max zombies spawned and got surrounded by gas crawlers with no quick revive left). Using this strategy my friends have gotten into the 30s and 40s. I have not tried doing this strategy in co-op but doesn't sound effective unless everyone always stayed together, which never ends well.
For CO-OP: the general tips still apply, and the best strategy for co-op I use is to go to the stage from the right side, and camp in the stage without turning on power, later on turn on the power and run around the theater but start making the same lap as getting ammo in my solo strategy, over and over in higher rounds.
I'm sure much better Co-op strategies exist but that Solo strategy is the BEST. I hope you do well.
its not on kino der toten
Kino der Toten means cinema of the dead.
no
According to the wiki, West Berlin Kino Der toten is also German for "Cinema of the dead" so it is somewhere in Germany of course, and what better place than Berlin to hold out against zombies.
