As of my last update, the price for a PSP 2004 battery in India typically ranges between ₹800 to ₹1,500, depending on the brand and retailer. Prices may vary based on availability and location, so it's advisable to check with local electronic stores or online marketplaces for the most current rates.

It's only possible to turn on your PSP with an adapter for the PSP or a battery for the PSP.
Unbrick one with a Pandora battery and memory stick. if the hardware is intact, then it will most likely fix it. you may need a friend with a hacked psp to do this. www.dealextreme.com may provide you with the battery and memory stick to do this for a reasonable price.
No you cant the slimmer battery is just too small but the normal battery can fit in both normal and slim PSP!!
The short answer is no. The PSP slim "CAN" take the larger battery from the PSP-1000 series, but it sticks out and you need to get a custom battery cover for it. The PSP-1000 can take the Slim or PSP-2000 battery, but, the same logic follows. It's best to keep the proper batteries to the right console.
Get another battery. You should of had backup files on your PSP battery.
A PSP phat battery will work in a PSP slim and lite, but bear in mind that a phat battery is deeper than a slim one, you will not be able to close the battery compartment using the origina battery cover.
