Seven is the favorite number of the members of Bungie. Therefore, there are many examples of the number 7 throughout the Halo series. That is just one of the examples, as 1x1x7=7. For more information on Halo "7"s, there are many sites on the internet to prove this.
Also, the main character's name and call number--John-117--is a bible reference. I saw this on some show on G4 i think. It refers to the first book of John, Chapter 1, Verse 7.The reference goes as follows:
"But if we walk in the light as he himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin."

Yes, I think so. It won't be Halo 3 ODST but it will be about spartan 117.
Master Chief (Petty Officer John-117 a.k.a. Spartan 117) from the popular xbox and PC games called Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo Wars.
It's about a spartan named john 117 that is awesome.

SPOILER ALERT! At the end of Halo 3, Spartan 117 gets stranded in space with Cortana. Everyone else on earth think he died and put the number 117 on the war memorial. I think they should make an add on to Halo 3.
No, Master Chief (AKA John, Sierra 117) does not die in halo 4.
John john but his army name is john 117
No because the elites did not join forces with spartan 117 until halo 2
There will probably be a halo 4 and if there is yes Master chief will be in it because if you complete halo 3 on legendary you see that he survives in cryo sleep. =]
Master Chief, or John - 117
16 players...4 consoles Turbo-117
In halo 1,2, and 3, the only spartan there is is master chief, or John 117. In halo reach there are still a group of Spartans left, until the end when they all die.
