What level do you have to be to defeat corvus in dragon quest 9?

in order to beat corvus you have to have a level 15 or higher priest then you need a level 15 or above warrior and then you have to be a level 50 or above warrior, minstrel,,gladiator,ranger,mage or priest i am a level 99 minstrel and i beat him using only falcon slashbut you need a fire blade, boss shield, mythril helmit, mirror armor, light gauntlets, dragon warrior trousers,drahgon warrior boots, and a mighty armlet equip them to your main character and then just hack away at him and don't worry about his critical attaacks they only do 16-150 but he's easy and if ur on face book look at kyle white and look for a pic of from dragon quest 9 and that's me and then send me an email so then you can tell me if it worked for you hope it helped

First of all, make sure you are sufficiently leveled (High 30's to low 40's)

Corvus is pretty easy if you keep healing with your priest.

Hammer him hard with any attacks you have.

Melee attackers should use their best skill, same with mages.

Be sure you have some mp healing items and you will be fine =)

He can heal his MP and cast a powerful spell called magic burst (also learned by sages at level 70 or so)

He attacks 2 times a turn.

One of his attacks is more attacks.

I just leveled up my whole teams sword ability to omnivocational swordmaster and make them learn giga slash then just kept attacking him with gigaslash pretty simple he has 3000 HP and his strongest move is COMes out from a bolt of the sky to KO your character i did it in 5 mins so yeah .......

you become fully mortal after then you can do a quest then after you get control of the Starflight Express. P.S. i cant beat the game i got instruction book.
