Patient Care Report from EMS
On-scene EMS providers are primarily responsible for delivering immediate medical care and support to patients in emergencies. This responsibility typically falls on paramedics and EMTs, who are trained to assess situations, provide life-saving interventions, and transport patients to appropriate medical facilities. Additionally, the incident commander or the lead EMS provider may oversee the overall response and coordination of resources on scene. Ultimately, accountability also extends to the EMS agency and its protocols for training and operational standards.
