Some radio's require you to enter the code (preset buttons) to reacivate a radio that has been removed. The sticker with the code on it was attached to the owners manual. If you re-install it and it will not work, without the code its dead (antitheft feature). There are plenty of used ones around as the factory supplied radio's were pretty bad. Find a used one advertized with the code, or buy and aftermaket unit
you might have to put in a special code into the radios head unit. it generally comes with the car manual. that could be all it is..when the battery is disconnected that's what you should do...
Is the code that you need to enter in order to have the radio work. Usually the dealer will provide the code with you vin #
Go to auto zone and have the codes read free. You can use a code reader, go to auto zone as stated, or do a manual check by counting the code read out on the check engine light. It tells you how to do this in the work manual for that vehicle. You can get the manual for around 12 bucks at most auto parts stores. After you have the code you can then find the source of it.
Manual work/labour is physical work done by people.
It still wants the code. Check for manual for the code. If it's not in the manual you have to remove the radio, it'll be on the back.
Yes, but it will not pass a code inspection and is unsafe.
A code needs to be put in once the battery is changed. The code can be found in the owners manual
