When do the ghouls attack on World of Warcraft?

There are plauge zombie attacks which come from these barrels. When you click on one, it gives you a disease which, after 10 mins (I think) you die at turn into a zombie. Then, you can attack anyone who is not allready a zombie. You lose health over time, but when you deal damage you restore it. There are special people who hit you with a spell (when you are a zombie), and get hit three times and you die. If you have the disease but have not died from it, go to them and they will cure you. These barrels appear a few weeks before each expation pack, so be ready when cataclysm comes out!
