Very good. You can be come a celebrity or evan a vampire. One bad thing about being a vampire is that you can't go out into the sunlight for too long becuase if you do you loose your powers. You get ALOT more furniture and clothing. You can live in appertments! Their are bars and dive bars! And you also get a new town - Bridgeport ! I think that the sims 3 late night WAS NOT a waste of money

There are also many stuff packs, which give your sim stuff. (obviously) Late-night is my favorite, simply because of the apartments, and I like having vampires to bite people.(late-night has vampires)
