An SSID isn't on a wii, its a name for your router on your computer so you have to find it on your computer first. On a Windows computer, go to Start>Control Panel>Network and internet Connections>; now you have a small screen that says, (in white) "Pick a Task..." and it lists several options, and below, "Pick a Task...", it says, (in white), "or pick a Control Panel icon". Now click: Wireless Network Setup Wizard>; this will bring up a small grey setup info box. Click: Next>Set up a new wireless network>; and at the top it should say: "Network Name (SSID)" followed by a box with your SSID in it!!! Hope I helped! I know how hard this is because i had to figure it out all by myself, and im only 13!! :). <3. God Bless.
The ssid is the network name. So if your network name is 'linksys' so is your ssid.
you find the ssid code on your router and i think you can figure the rest out

pasword
it is a certain code which you can find at the back of your wi-fi broadband home hub. It should say. Hope this helps :)
Find network stumbler site and download also i think it is a wireless network area
To connect to a WiFi network the SSID must be known so a FAKE SSID will prevent connection to the network.
You cant find SSID on ds you have to know it from your computer and type it in your DS.

An SSID is simply a name used so that people can identify a wireless network. The "best SSID" to connect to in any case whatever your home network is called.
You often need to find the SSID to hook up a device such a gaming console. To find the SSID number for Cricket wireless broadband, either consult the manual which came with the device or by opening the set up screen for the router.
