In Final Fantasy, Merrick the dwarf is located in the Dwarven Castle, which is situated in the underground area of the map. The Dwarven Castle can be accessed after obtaining the airship and is found beneath the mountains in the northern part of the world. Merrick is associated with the quest involving the Adamantite ore and plays a crucial role in upgrading weapons.
To view the map, be outside of town, hold B, and press Select.
