According to the official Alvin Lee website (do a Google search to find it) the Gibson ES335 Lee used during Woodstock is in storage. Lee used to tour with it but after someone offered him $500,000 to buy it Lee decided it was to valuable to damage and no longer tours with it. Gibson sells a reproduction of his guitar for about $3,500 but I'm sure it's not going to play as well as Lee's "59. So as far as I know, Lee still has the guitar. Hopefully someday it will be displayed in some museum for all to see. After all, what good is a great guitar without being able to see it or play it.
