From my knowledge, you can't get it back. It's a disgraceful bug with the game. Although, from what i've heard, (depending your console) there are some cheats which can possibly get Krosis back.

Oh dear! Her inventory resporned. Im so sorry mate but you have lost the mask permanently. In future, never give valuable items to followers just in case. If you have too much carrying weight then give them your dragon bones :)
