Zorof is Spineworld's local mad scientist. You need him for some quests, b/c he's the one with inventions. Another plus is he has a machine that mixes things in your inventory... but not just anything. They have to be compatable. If you have a pet, they can dig in any area with grass and other soft soil places. Some of the things they find can be used to make new things using Zorof's machine. Having trouble finding him? He's at the top level of Cloud Spire, his shop is near Maru, the blue dude that sells stuff. Next to Maru (left of him) you'll see some stairs. The stairs lead up to a door with a plaque that has a 'Z' on it. Z for Zorof. Go in this door and you'll meet Zorof. If you put your mouse over his machine, you'll get a hand symbol. Click with the hand and you'll bring up the mixing window.
