I personally think that the gamecube version is better, because of the fact that the wii version makes you swing your arms around the whole time, while the gamecube version does not
In essence GameCube discs use standard DVD technology, but Nintendo made one change that makes them unable to be read in a computer. Nintendo reversed the direction of spin in GameCube drives. This makes it so if a computer tried to read the disk, it would be unable to access any data because the disk would effectively be spinning backwards.
When Nintendo makes like 2 more consoles.

Yes gamecube games must be played with gamecube controllers even on the Wii.
Actually, the Nintendo Gamecube was released in 2001. And the Wii is the successor of the Gamecube and can even play Gamecube games as long as you have a Gamecube memory card and controller. But if you want only a Gamecube console, you would have to go to a used game store.

There is no GameShark for the GameCube. There is, however, an Action Replay for the GameCube, which is similar to the GameShark.
