PING uses the internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP).
It's possible to turn ICMP *off* to prevent unauthorised "snooping", so your friend (or some point along the path between you and him/her) may have ICMP off.
Alternately, PING may be set to a low number of hops, and may be refusing to work over a path with many routers/gateways. Try setting the number of hops to, say 100.
Type in the IP address or Hamachi address of your friend's correctly or play the premium Minecraft. Myncraft1: Your friends has to be on (Hamachi) to connect to his server
i dont not now it to i wanna now that to!
The hamachi part yes as long as the hamachi is active for that server the server itself cant run though as the server is local to the computer.
They might be hamachi run.
I think it's because your friend has to make a hamachi network, and you need to join it.
You need Hamachi first, then you have to join there Network they should have created through Hamachi. Once you have done that you need to get there personal Hamachi IP and type it in on Minecraft, it should not require a port.
That depends on whether it's a bukkit or hamachi. If its hamachi just op yourself on the window where it says loading spawn area because basically op is admin on hamachi so if you are op you basically own a hamachi server.
make sure that your hamachi server is on and that you gave him the right ip
You need to have hamachi.
Yes, you can play if you friend has Hamachi, then you can play a LAN game. Check out hamachi by googling it.
no you cant
No. You have to use Bukkit. And there is no such thing as a hamachi server, it just means you connect to their network using Hamachi
