Because that's how the world is, men must always act manish.
cartoons were made for little children. but that does not stop you from watching them. Answer Watching cartoons would be a childlike activity for a 21 year old if he/she is watching them during the day when most work or go to school. It should not be interfering with what you should be doing.
No , it is not unusual for an adult to watch cartoons daily .
The difference is the maturity and experience that an adult has. Watching only cartoons as an adult can result in a lack of maturity and experience whereas an adult watching cartoons as part of his or her entertainment shows responsibility and more maturity
I think it's because early cartoons were aimed at children, specifically. Cartoons nowadays have more adult themes and references than cartoons from the early 1900's to the 1960's. Those were cartoons from a more innocent era. People are more cynical and savvy now. There are plenty of cartoons nowadays that are aimed squarely at teens and adults. 'Family Guy', 'Futurama', 'The Simpsons', and many more, are written with an adult sensibility. I am not, in the least bit, ashamed to view these cartoons. In fact, I often reference them in everyday conversation. Despite all of this, I agree that there is a stigma attached to adults watching animated shows.
It isn't, if people are saying this to you then they are making fun of you.
quantum physics solaice reunion line.
Why wouldn't they be? There is nothing wrong with watching cartoons as an adult
cause your boss wants you to be doing your job not watching cartoons
There is no disadvantage to watching cartoons as an adult. im 20 years old and still what Anime and old cartoons from my child hood. There is nothing wrong with that and don't let anyone else tell you different.
Doesn't belong. Children are watching the cartoons and this exposes them to things that they do not need to be exposed to.
At 24 most people would expect you to have a job and be busy doing stuff. In my opinion, it depends on the cartoon. If, for example, it was a mature anime I would assume most people would take this as a hobby but if it was a children's cartoon, most people would probably find this strange. The world is changing though and I think that more people are hanging on to childhood favorites. (like an adult who is still in love with Elmo or similar). I think that the reason people would laugh is not really that you watch cartoons, it's that you watch them everyday when society believes at that age you should be working or studying. And if they still laugh at you watching cartoons, I say don't let it get to you. Everyone has a hobby, yours could be watching cartoons - understandable.
