This lagging is the result of the map packs. You can't shoot anyone and kill them anymore, you always seem to 'miss'. There is a few ways of improving it but none of these fully get rid of it. The lag should improve when the next update arrives. 1) you can hook up your ps3 to the internet with and Ethernet cable if you have wireless, or you can change your nat type to a lower version.
