Why does the disk authentification keep coming up when you try to play the sims 3?

because you need to clean it or if you got it pre-owned then take it back where you got ir from and tell that person to give you another one or they can just fix it

I had the same problem! I bought two and they both said the same thing. Try returning it and buying a new one from somewhere else. It is probably a bad batch.
