Yes November 8 2011 release It is uncertain as the two heads of Infinity Ward were recently fired after an argument wit Actvision after wanting to move the series on (ie. Away from Modern Warfare). The other developer who makes Call of Duty - Treyarch, has announced that their next CoD tilte will be Vieitnam. I dont expect that Treyarch will. There maybe a CoD 8 - MW 3. But at the moment its a bit un certain

Microsoft has made a deal with Treyarch so that it comes out on xbox a month before playstation. assuming you dont have an xbox 360.

Infinity ward did loss a number of personal and yet they will still release Modern Warfare 3 in November 8 2011 with help from other game developers with Activision. yes there will be a modern warfare 3 but treyarch is going to make the game. I do not know when it's going to come out but i think it may come out in the fall of 2011. My friend had told me that. I might be wrong but i am certain that the release date. Infinity Award is not going to make modern warfare 3 because they got sew. And they dont have money to do Modern warfare 3 so no more Infinity Ward. And say hi to Treyarch.

There probably will but it won't come out for a while because they are still making call of duty modern warfare 3 The title of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is not yet set in stone and they found a number of advantages in not naming Call of Duty Black Ops as Call of Duty World at War II. They sales were not hurt by changing the name. There may never be a 4th Call of Duty Modern Warfare but Infinity Ward will design another Call of Duty game for Activision after the 2011 release just like Treyarch will certainly design the 2012 version of the 9th COD release.
