As of right now, we don't know because Square Enix have stated many times that such a project is not in the works due to the fact that the team who developed the original game are busy with other projects (such as Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy versus XIII).
An enhanced remake for the playstation 3 is likely once all of those projects are done. Though Square Enix did they that they were considering the possibility of porting it to other systems, and it is understandable considering the amount of money to be made of multiple system releases.
