I'm assuming you meant you tuned up your car, and replaced the MAF sensor. :) Seeing your car idles good for the first few moments, it seems like you have a warm idle problem. (when the engine warms up) I'd clean out the throttle body area, and check the Idle Air Control valve. If you are just replacing parts, you can sink a lot of money into the problem before you fix it. If you replace a part and it doesn't seem to help, return the part, and put the original back in. Most auto places have good return policies. Also - if you're replacing parts on a newer car (1992 or so+) then you'll want to pull the negative battery cable off and press the brakes down, let it sit for about 15 minutes. The car will then relearn it's idle procedures... otherwise changing any part may not help immediately. Hope that helps!
the easiest way to solve any engine problems is to have a garage plug a diagnostic reader into it dependin on the age of the vehicle it will depend on the diagnostic code reader eg year 2000 and newer you will work with OBD 2 which will give code numbers that you look up in a book older than 2000 you will work with OBD 1 which gives you flash codes that you match on cards given with this code reader or the old kripton tuner, this will show you variations and will show you ignition timings which can stop your engine from ticking over (idling) if a spark is going somewhere it souldnt, most modern garages wont have this though because it is now outdated technology.
just thought if it is a modern car (2000 or above) it could be as simple as the crankshaft position sensor because vauxhall and Fiat had problems with their crank position sensors and cut out after about 2 to five minutes so id check that before messing with the throttle body
mite be the icv (located near the rev cable) that needs cleaning i had same problem idling around 400 and sometimes cutting out a carb cleaner will clean it
A car that is stopped with the engine running.
Could be a problem with one of the coils. It has 4
There are many reasons why your car might vibrate while it is idling. It could be running too hard for example.
Yes, "sparkling plugs" is definitely detrimental to idling or smooth running of an engine
Its fuel injected doesnt have a carb.
change the mass air flow senser
Idling is what your car is doing when it is just sitting somewhere running. As soon as you press on the gas it is no longer idling. Your idle speed is the number of RPMs your engine runs at when you are idling.
13.5 to 15.5 volts with the engine idling.
if it doesnt idle what does it do..... it prob idils rough. change power steering pump and or rack and pinion steering assembly if ur rack is worn it will burn up pump
Leave idling, on level ground, at running temp
Yes, idling in park.
