Negative Collected Balance = Ledger Balance - Float, given Float > Ledger Balance.
Float Balance means the amount of funds represented by checks that have been issued but not yet collected.
Carburetor fuel leakage is almost ALWAYS caused by a worn or damaged needle and seat.I just replaced the needle&seat But it turned out to be a leak in the float. Remove the float and shake it next to your ear if you hear anything in there it's most likely fuel inside that will make the float sink.
If you mean an egg in the shell, there is a small amount of air in the shell along with the egg. That acts as a float.
Objects float in liquids due to the upward force exerted by the liquid, known as buoyancy. This force is caused by the pressure difference between the top and bottom of the object, pushing it upwards. As long as the buoyant force is greater than the weight of the object, it will float.
All bodies float after time. (I hate to think about what caused this question)
It has to go throught the carb. Typically this is caused by a bad float. You will need to remove the carb and clean it or replace it.
Objects float higher in salt water due the density caused by the salt, the more salt present in the water the higher the object will float.
The float on a 1993 Bayou is tricky to adjust. You first have to remove the carburetor from the quad, Remove the four phillips screws that hold the float bowl cover on, take a small screwdriver and bend the float upwards or downward depending on whether you want more or less fuel.
To unstick the float in a 1993 Chevy G20 carburetor, first, remove the air cleaner and the carburetor cover to access the float chamber. Gently tap the float with a soft mallet or screwdriver handle to dislodge it, being careful not to damage it. If that doesn't work, you may need to remove the float assembly and clean it with carburetor cleaner to remove any debris. Reassemble the carburetor and check for proper operation.
The problem is most likely in the float bowl. The float could be bad. The likely cause is the needle valve that is control by the float is stuck, or dirt has gotten between the needle and needle seat. This is an easy fix. Carefully remove the float bowl. The float will be held in place by a pin. Remove the pin, and float. Check that there is no fuel in the float, and that it floats in gas, if not replace. The needle valve will come out with the float, as they are connected by a wire link. Make sure needle vale is clean, and able to move freely inside it's housing. Check the bottom of the housing at the needle seat to make sure it is clean of dirt. Reassemble, and you should be ready to go.
To fix a stuck float on a 1994 Sportster, first, remove the carburetor from the bike and take off the float bowl. Inspect the float for any debris or damage that may be causing it to stick. Clean the float and the needle seat with carburetor cleaner to remove any buildup. If the float is still stuck, you may need to gently bend the float arm to ensure proper movement, and reassemble the carburetor before reinstalling it on the motorcycle.
