I ran into that problem and found that the pump basket needed cleaning and that needle like leaves had gotten beyon that basket and into the pump impeller. I had to remove the metal ring that connected the pump to the pump basket and clean it out. After I did this, the pump was fine. I am a female, and if I could do it you can too.
When was the last time you cleaned the pool filter?????
The first question to ask is are you getting suction from the pool, When the sand filter is cleaned the pressure goes down. So the only thing you should worry about is. 1 The filter should be set on filter. you should be getting strong suction from the suction side outlet of the pool. and you should make sure you are not sucking air into the skimmer.
you may have to prime your pump Clean or replace the filter.
Sounds like a leak on the suction side of your equipment.

When vacuuming a pool, it's best to set the filter to "Filter" mode if your system has that option. This allows the vacuum to draw water through the filter, capturing debris effectively. If you're using a suction-side vacuum, ensure the skimmer is set to allow for vacuuming, and close any other skimmers or returns to maximize suction. Avoid using the "Waste" setting, as this will drain water from the pool.
Filter earth coming out of the main drains in your pool can be caused by a broken or damaged filter grid inside the pool filter, allowing the filter media to escape. It could also be due to high pressure in the filter system, causing the filter media to be forced back into the pool. Check the filter system for any damage or blockages, and ensure proper maintenance and cleaning of the filter.
The pump sucks water thru pipes that lead to the pool usually one in the bottom called a main drain and one on top at the side called a slimmer then pumps it thru the filter and heater then back to pool.
A gurgling pool filter typically indicates air trapped in the system, which can occur if the water level is low or there are leaks in the suction lines. It's also possible that the filter is dirty or needs backwashing, causing an imbalance in pressure. To resolve the issue, check the water level, inspect for leaks, and clean or backwash the filter as necessary. If the problem persists, consulting a pool professional may be advisable.
You must have a vac system. Use it to remove the dust. The pool equipment can not do it all you have to help keep the pool clean by vac the pool, adding chemicals, cleaning the tile line etc. A pool is a money pit and labor intensive. You could also have a broken filter element with a D E filter. In that case get the filter repaired.
I just had change my sand filter and it seem working fine, but it doesn't have enough suction at the skimmers, why it does this?
other than taking the paper filter out everyday and spraying it clean with a hose....nothing. Buy a better filter. It may cost $300-$400, but it will circulate the water faster and make vaccumming easier.
