You may have debris caught up in the impellers, the pump motor may be on its way out or if you have a cartridge filter the cartridge may be clogged with mineral deposits see if the pressure in front of the filter is always high if it is your pool shop will have the right gear for cleaning it out. A: Clean or back wash the filter and recharge with new D. E. as needed. Clean out or empty the skimmer and pump baskets. If it has been over 25 - 30 days since you last cleaned the filter either by back washing or hosing the cartridge elements then your filter is dirty. High pressure reading on the filter tank gauge is the first indication that the filter is dirty and needs cleaning. k
When was the last time you cleaned the pool filter?????
If you have a dedicated suction for the vacuum hose (illegal in Australia) then you close the skimmer to increase suction.
You can get a by pass valve that will alleviate some of the suction by taking water into the hose at another point.
You need to use forced air through the suction pipe from the pool pump, to the skimmer, this will blow out any debris trapped inside. you can use the air out port on a shop vac. hope this helps.
Doesn't really sound like a question. But your swimming pool suction is determined by the size of your pump. There are other factors like the pipe distance and diameter, but it basically comes down to the size of your pump.
your could need a new diaphragm or your suction could be to high and it is sucked to the floor of the pool
They do the same thing except the robotics do not interfere with your pool circulation and can be programmed to your pool instead of a random pattern.
you may have to prime your pump Clean or replace the filter.
You may try a suction side pool cleaner. Connects into the skimmer. No booster pump needed. Pool Vac, Kreepy Krauly are but a few.
The suction side cleaner - pool vac - may have air entrapped inside the housing. Inverting it while still under water may work.
There are a few solutions. Do you have multiple skimmers - 2, 3, 4 the plug all the ones that you do not have the vac hose plugged into. There may also be valves that you need to close or open to get you suction for vaccing the pool. You may also have to evacuate the vac hose of all air.
First of all have a look if you have enough suction and check that there is not something caught up in it.
