Yes Iver Johnson made a 38 caliber revolver. I have one that my older brother (age 94) gave me which I think was my Mothers weapon. I just got it back from a gunsmith friend of mine and he took it apart and cleaned and checked it out and said it is ready to fire. He told me to be sure and specify 38 S&W ammunition for it. The only number I could find (36210) is on the bottom of the trigger guard which I assume is the serial #

Yes....I own one and love it. Breach break and double action. It was a cheap gun used for concealed carry as a boot gun or pocket carry.
As far as I know Iver Johnson made .22 break-top revolvers from 1900 to the 1930's and they were all seven shot if there were some five shots made I've never seen one.
No one by that name was president. If you mean President McKinley, it was a 32 caliber Iver Johnson
I can find no '65A' but they did make a 55A, eight shot revolver from 1961-1978. Value of the 55A, depending on condition, would be $95-$225. Later models had 'Iver Johnson Sportsman' on it.
Yes Iver Johnson did make 410 shot guns, I own 2 break open 410 shot guns both made by Iver Johnson.
Actually, it was Johnson and Bye, the fore-runner of the Iver Johnson companies, 1871-1883.
Iver Johnson produced the .50 caliber rifle model 500 in the early 1900s, specifically around 1906. This model was part of a series of firearms that showcased the company's innovation during that period. If you need more specific details about its features or historical context, feel free to ask!
No never the owl was the logo on the grips only, there was the bulldog, the young American and so on. Go on line and Google Iver Johnson firearms or go to gunbroker.com to find the worth or get the standard catalog of firearms or the Blue Book of Gun Values..........
They do not make a nine shot pistol made by Iver Johnson. These pistols were available in the 1940s.
This model was made for Iver Johnson by ERMA Werke in Germany and imported from 1988-1990. I know of no source for that magazine, however, we can MAKE one if given the proper dimensions. sales@countrygunsmith.net
S&W did not make this. Iver Johnson used an owl head trademark for many years. I am not aware of any serial number data available for the company, but if you can identify the model, we may be able to narrow the manufacture date within a decade or two.
Value of any gun is based on exact make, model, and condition. Yours may vary from $100-$300.
