You need a gunsmith
Best left to a gunsmith
There were two types of firing pin used on that model. Would need to see the bolt, but we have the pin. gunshop@nctv.com
Take it to a gunsmith. Remove cylinder - remove firing pin pin located under rear site - use finishing nail/small center punch ,place against back of firing pin and tap lightly driving pin toward "removed" cylinder
You can find a replacement firing pin for a Stevens model 87D 22 cal rifle at a gun dealership. You can also find it by contacting the manufacturer.
A good gunsmith can do it.
Use a Marlin 57 firing pin. It's the same rifle, just re-branded for Sears.
Firing pin is held in the falling block by a retaining pin. This is not normally removed or replaced for routine maintenance. Rather than provide instructions, I will suggest that this go to a gunsmith, who should also inspect the firearm for safe condition prior to installing the firing pin.
