To disassemble a .44 Magnum revolver, first ensure the firearm is unloaded by checking the cylinder for cartridges. Next, remove the cylinder by locating the release latch, usually found on the side, and pulling it out while turning the cylinder. After removing the cylinder, you can further disassemble the revolver by unscrewing any screws on the frame or grip panels, depending on the model. Always refer to the specific manufacturer's manual for detailed instructions and safety precautions.

"The S&W Revolver: A Shop Manual" Book by Jerry Kuhnhausen
Best left to a gun smith. No need to take apart for normal maintenance.
The RG 23 was not meant to be disassembled by the user. As a cost saving measure, these were assembled with pins rather than screws. These were low cost, low quality firearms- if you have one that needs repair, the repair costs will likely exceed the value ($25-50) of the revolver.
The word disassemble essentially means the opposite of what assemble does. To disassemble something is to take it apart. A synonym of disassemble is dismantle.
