To remove the rear sight from a Marlin Model 75, first ensure the firearm is unloaded and safe to handle. Locate the screws securing the rear sight to the receiver; typically, there are two screws on either side. Use a suitable screwdriver to carefully remove these screws. Once the screws are out, gently lift the rear sight off the dovetail or mounting area.

Germany used it in WWII and it was a prize for any allied solder to get it off of any German commander The German luger came about early 1900's as the P08. It was used by German forces during WW1 and WW2. Basically there were 3 models: standard pistol with 4" barrel, the artillery model with (about) 8" barrel and the Naval model also with an 8' barrel. The difference between the artillery and naval model was that the artillery model had an elevated rear sight located to the rear of the barrel near the ejection port whereas the naval model had a rear sight similar to the standard model. Lugers came mostly in 9mm but also in 30 cal. luger..........................
You need to pull the buttstock off. The serial number is on the left side of the upper tang.
If you can give me the rollstamp information off the barrel, I can give you more info. Hard to say what you have, without that info. Also, if you check the upper tang, behind the hammer, it may have a model number. If there's a sight there, it needs to be removed to read the markings.
Year, make and model would help us help you.
The front sight is mounted on a "dove tail", you just tap it out of the notch in the ramp with a hammer and a punch or drift pin. The ramp is welded on, you cant take it off.

If the rear wiper is currently in operation, turn the control stalk to the "off" position. If your model has a dedicated button for the rear wiper, simply press it to deactivate the wipers. Always consult your vehicle's owner manual for specific instructions related to your model year.
