you unscrew the cap at the bottom of the pistol. Then you place the C02 bottle in upside down. The neck is facing the opening. Screw the cap back in thumb tight DO NOT USE PLIERS. If you want the owners manual go to www.crosman.com and click on Owners manual at the bottom of the page.
