To measure the barrel length of a Winchester Model 73, first ensure the firearm is unloaded and safe to handle. Then, use a measuring tape or ruler to measure from the muzzle (the end of the barrel) to the face of the closed bolt or breech where the barrel meets the receiver. The length should be measured along the top of the barrel for accuracy. It's important to note that barrel lengths are typically measured in inches.
