Did it ever occurr to you that you might need to offer a bit more information?

Try gun shops, on line auctions, egunparts, pawn shops and gun shows.
Though the action is a fairly simple mechanism, unless you're familiar with how it works, you're never going to be able to figure what's wrong. Without more detail on the specifics of what's not working, I can't be much help at all. From what you wrote, it sounds like the lever itself isn't working. Are you sure the gun is unloaded and that there isn't a shell stuck between the magazine and the carrier? There are several small pins that connect the lever to armatures inside the gun. Check to see if all the linkages are connected to each other. These pins can come loose or break, but that's pretty rare. If you've watched one too may John Wayne movies and decided to try your hand at "twirling" the gun by the lever to cock it, you've probably broken one of the armatures or sheared off one of the pins. Your best bet is to take it to a real gun smith. What ever he charges may sound like a lot of money, but it's way cheaper than an artificial hand or a glass eye.
Well, I heard it does indeed take off some range.
The fuel supply is 'on' or 'off' with that lever. Turning the lever at 90 degrees to the pipe, switches fuel flow off.
shooting pointed bullets in tube magazine , pointed bullets can set off the ammo in the rifles recoil.
take the lever off completely and see if something is preventing it seating properly. I fix many Moen faucets and have never heard of this propblem.
Take off the battery, and open up the back lid thingy. Once you take the battery off the gun, you'll figure it out.
yes. pull off the left side and pull the rest off
There is a takedown latch (lever) under the forearm. Pull it down, then remove the forearm from the barrels by pivoting away. Carefully slide the lever on top to release the barrels in the usual manner of breaking the barrels open. The barrels can then be lifted off the lug from the frame as you break the action open.
there are two screws where it meets the gun, unscrew those and slide it out
If it is a manual trans.take the screws out holding the shift lever boot on. Slide the boot up the gearshift. there will be a bolt holding the lever on, take that out and pull on the lever. you may have to get a little rough with the lever to get it to come off once the bolt is out.
