Had if for a year, only time it ever jammed is because of the ammo. But there's always 3 or 5 defective ones in every 200rd box.
A Marlin Model 60 might be jamming often do to a problem with the parts inside. An older gun might need to be thoroughly cleaned. There could be too much friction or a part is worn out in the trigger mechanism or in the bullet chamber.
lead ammo
The model 60 had this problem alot usually the gun needs to be cleaned, there's alot of talk that 36 grain rounds cause jams too. 40 grain is a little better but if you dont clean regularly it will still jam and not eject correctly.
Auto shotguns most often jam because they need a thorough cleaning. If the gun is clean, it may need adjustment or repair. You are best off toaking the gun to a gunsmith for assessment.
you must use cci hypervelosity long rifle ammo. this will result in jam free ops. That would be a no on the Hyper ammo. Marlin specifically states in the manual NOT to use Hyper Velocity ammo in their semi-auto rifles. It's fine for the bolt action and lever action rimfires, but not in the semi-auto. The semi-auto Marlin rifles were designed to shoot High Velocity only and using Hyper can damage them. There are a lot of reasons a Marlin or any other rimfire rifle might "jam", but we'll need a lot more information on the particular problem. Jamming could be anything from a failure to feed, extract, eject, stove piping or other problem. We just need more information. If you really need help on your Marlin 60, surf over to Rimfire Central's Marlin forums. A lot of great advice and they/we should be able to keep your 60 running smooth. There's also a lot of information on upgrades available for your 60 if you decide to make some changes. For the record, my personal Model 60 doesn't jam and it has 10,000+ rounds through it since 2005. They're great little rifles if they're running as they should.
The lifter which lifts the shell from the magazine tube to the chamber and aligns it for the bolt could be broke or worn.

No. Jelly has a TON of sugar in it, jam has more fruit than jelly. You can often find more fruit chunks in jam. Jelly does not have fruit chunks in it.
A jam sponge is commonly referred to as a "jam roly-poly" or "jam sponge pudding." It consists of a sponge cake spread with jam, rolled up, and typically served warm, often with custard. This traditional British dessert is loved for its comforting flavors and textures.
To unjam a Marlin 444 lever action rifle, first ensure the firearm is pointed in a safe direction and the safety is engaged. Carefully open the action by operating the lever to extract any stuck round. If the round is stuck in the chamber, use a cleaning rod or a similar tool to gently tap the cartridge out. If the jam persists, consult the owner's manual or a qualified gunsmith for further assistance.
