Here's a short lesson on accurate airguns and rifles. BB's are hard and designed to be shot from a smooth bore rifle. They are basically shot through a tube. They tumble as they fly and have a tendency to travel off target. They at really .175 caliber Some say .177 caliber.
Now pellets are .177 and made from soft material and designed to be shot through a rifled barrel. This makes them spin and fly straighter. Pellet rifles are generally more accurate than BB rifles. The groves in the barrel make the pellet spin giving them accuracy. There are only one kind of BB, Round, there are several different types of Pellets to choose from.
I'm listing a web link at the bottom of this page for you to look at. Read the owners reviews first then make a selection. Personally I perfer the 880 over the 760. BUT there are much better rifles out there.
Both the 880 and 760 have rifled bore barrels but the bb really don't take much advantage of it. The rifleing is designed for the Pellets.
