Mount for a scope.
You need a Weaver Side Mount #2 (which is the base). Weaver also make 1" side mount rings that mount onto this base. That's what I have on my .222 Savage 340.
weaver refers to the type of scope mounts the scope uses. a weaver scope can mount on any rail size.
You mount it the same way you mount a scope. The rifle or gun must have an 11MM or Weaver mount on the barrel for the red dot to attach to.
A weaver number 2 base and your choice of weaver side mount rings, midway has both. Total cost for both pieces is around $50.
Since it has weaver rails, all you need are Weaver scope rings. An offset mount will help too.
No it won't fit.You need a real pellet gun scope to fit on a pellet gun. Actually, yes they can. as long as both have the same base/rail mount. You cane buy Weaver to dovetail or dovetail to weaver accesories to swith them in and out. They even have quick detach rings and bases. Anything is possible nowadays if you just do some research b4 you buy:)
To mount a Nikon Monarch dot scope on a Winchester Super X2 NWTF shotgun, you'll need a Weaver-style base that fits the shotgun's receiver. The appropriate choice would be a Weaver base specifically designed for the Winchester Super X2. Look for a base that offers a secure fit and is compatible with the scope rings designed for Weaver-style mounts. Always ensure proper alignment and torque specifications when installing the mount.
Hello: Weaver offers a scope base for the Marlin Model 512 Slugmaster, contact Weaver for a complete package. Thanks side scope mount (Weaver 10M)
That will take a Weaver #12 base for both front and rear or a Weaver #2 sidemount. Weaver notes that the rifle will need to be drilled and tapped. See http://www.weaver-mounts.com/mountcharts/default.aspx
That gun was made by Marlin for Sears, and those holes are not factory. Someone has drilled and tapped it for (probably) a Weaver side-mount base.
Yes, you can mount a weaver (or Picatinny) rail accessory on a dovetail mount, but you will need an adapter or specific rings designed to fit both the dovetail and weaver dimensions. Dovetail mounts typically have different width and groove specifications compared to weaver rails, so ensure compatibility before attempting to mount. Always check the manufacturer's guidelines for both the mount and the accessory to ensure a secure fit.
You can get a base (or bases) that will attach directly to the top of the receiver. Then the rings mount to the base. Pretty standard scope mounting process.
