The gun was manufactured sometimes around 1947, perhaps a bit earlier. I purchased one new from a store in Beaumont, Texas in July, 1947. Mine came with a Teonite (Plastic) stock and forearm. The stock was crafted to look like a piece of walnut, grade XXXX with lots of swirls and other figure. I paid $47.00 for mine, and I have put about 6 to 8 boxes of shells through it to date. It still looks brand new. Value? Value is what someone is willing to pay for it.
