The Savage 1917 was the last version of the 1907. A few changes and of course those flared grips. The 1907 did not have that, just regular streight ones. The 1917 was produced up until 1926. Even tho quit old there were a lot of them made, and a lot of them sold. So value is not much for most. If you had a 1915 hammerless, also related to the 1917 and 1907, they get pretty pricey. With all collectable guns as with all collectable things, price is usually based on condition. Unless rare, very rare or one of a kind. This gun in average used condition is less than $300. Sorry.
Magazines are available but mostly not very good. If you have the original, or one with it, hang on to it. Originals go for $60 and up.
