I have a Springfield model 87a. 22 short an long rifle automatic. It was made by j. Stevens firearm co in Chicopee falls mass USA. Can I get a parts catalog for it an when was it made
If it's marked Springfield and not Stevens, probably circa WWII or so (though they weren't used by troops in the war, that roughly coincides with when they were sold to sportsmen under the Springfield brand name).
Parts for a Stevens Model 87A can be found at: http://www.e-gunparts.com/productschem.asp?chrMasterModel=089Zz87A
