AnswerYes, there are 16 Gauge shotguns. It was a popular size in the 1940's but fell out of favor when magnum 20 gauge became available. Interest seems to have increased again lately in some parts of the country and I have heard that it is still very common in Europe. I can't find shells in my local Walmart, but a few sporting goods stores carry some.
